A person who is into a habit of licking also gets prone to chelitis. Saliva accumulation, at the corner of your mouth are also reasons of chelitis as fungal easily flairs up. This problem is also common in diabetes patients.
Remedies for Chelitis are-
There are not many medicines for chelitis.
- Some paraffin ointments are available in the market.
- Some people go for kitchen tips like applying ghee on cuts or lip balm.
- But Aloevera is also a good medicine, applying its gel helps you to recover soon.
But it is good to wash your mouth three four times a day and apply gel on it. Taking good healthy diet also works as a remedy here. People who have a problem of saliva accumulation must wash their mouth and apply ointment regularly. Concentrate on your immunity. Go for healthy food items. Fruits and vegetables are must. Include more vitamin C in your diet.
Remember it is contagious so keep away from somebody who is having chelitis. An infected person should maintain distance from others mainly children and old aged people.
